Privacy Policy

This is the personal data processing policy of Mark Ozolin (hereinafter - "the Operator"). This Policy protects your rights when you use the website https://dr-ozolin.com (hereinafter - "the Site").

Date of publication: April 20, 2026

Who am I?

I am Mark Ozolin, a physician specialising in sports medicine and rehabilitation. I work remotely as a consultant and educator.

When the Policy refers to "I", "me", or "the Operator", it means me.

What is this Policy about?

It explains how I collect, store, and protect your data when you visit the Site. If you book a consultation or purchase access to the private club, those processes happen outside the Site - in Telegram and via the payment service Tribute - and are governed by separate rules, which I also describe below.

What is personal data?

Any information by which a specific individual can be identified. I process only what is listed in this Policy.

Whose data do I process?

Data of visitors to the Site and clients who have booked a consultation or joined the private club "Quiet Knee".

What data do I collect and why?

The Site itself does not collect any personal data directly. There are no forms, registration, or user accounts.

What web analytics collects. I use Vercel Analytics, an aggregated statistics system that does not use cookies. It shows how many people visit the Site, from which pages, and from which countries. Individual visitors cannot be identified from this data.

What you share with me in Telegram when you book a consultation or contact me for any other reason: your name, contact details, and a description of your situation and the purpose of your inquiry. The correspondence remains in Telegram on my side for as long as you use my services - I refer to it to continue our work. On your request, I delete the correspondence from my side.

What Tribute sends me when you pay for a subscription to the private club: name, email, and the fact and amount of payment. I use this data to grant you access to the private channel and to keep track of active subscriptions. Your card details are not shared with me - they are processed by Tribute. For details on how Tribute processes data, see their policy at tribute.tg.

What about the questionnaires on the Site?

The Site has a "Questionnaires" section (KOOS, DASH, ODI, and others). When you answer the questions, your data stays in your browser and is not transmitted anywhere. Scoring and PDF generation happen locally. Neither I nor anyone else sees or stores your answers.

What rights do you have?

Access. You may request what data I hold about you.

Rectification. Ask me to correct inaccurate data.

Erasure. Ask me to delete your data. After deletion, I will no longer be able to work with you.

Withdrawal of consent. Withdraw your consent to processing at any time.

Complaint. File a complaint with the data protection authority in your country of residence if you believe your rights have been violated.

To exercise any of these rights, email me at ozolin.mark@gmail.com.

On what legal basis do I process data?

  • Analytics - on the basis of legitimate interest in understanding how the Site performs
  • Data of consultation clients and club members - on the basis of a service agreement and your consent
  • If required by law - without consent, on the basis of law

With whom do I share data?

I do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for marketing. Sharing is only possible in the following cases.

Technical contractors without whom the Site and services cannot function:

  • Vercel Inc. (USA) - website hosting and basic analytics
  • Telegram FZ-LLC (UAE) - communication channel with clients
  • Tribute - payment processing for the private club

You have separate relationships with each of these services, governed by their own policies.

On legal demand - if I receive a lawful request from government authorities.

International data transfer

I work remotely, and the technical services I use (hosting, payment service, messenger) are international companies. This means that some of your data may be processed outside your country. I choose services that maintain modern data protection standards.

Documents you share on your own initiative

If, in the course of our work, you choose to share documents with me - imaging, reports, examination results - I treat them with care. I store them in the same protected environment as my working notes (access restricted to me, two-factor authentication), use them only to carry out our work, and do not share them with anyone. On your request, I delete them.

I do not require documents as a condition for the consultation - you decide for yourself what to share and when.

How do I ensure security?

I take reasonable technical and organisational measures: strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and restricted access to working notes. The Site runs over HTTPS. Absolute security on the internet does not exist, but I do what I can.

How long do I store data?

Analytics - in aggregated form, without links to specific individuals. Telegram correspondence and working notes - for as long as you use my services, plus a reasonable period in case you return. On your request, I delete data earlier - including the correspondence from my side in Telegram.

Cookies

The Site does not use cookies for tracking. Vercel Analytics operates without them. If in the future I add services that use cookies, I will update this Policy and add a consent banner.

How will I update this Policy?

I may introduce changes. A new version takes effect on the date of publication shown at the top of the document. The current version is always available at https://dr-ozolin.com/en/privacy.

How to contact me?

For any questions about data processing, email me at ozolin.mark@gmail.com. I will reply within 10 days.
